Oh! How much peace I have come to know from recognizing that my sustenance has always been from God and my effort has had little to do with it. This comfort that comes from relying solely on Him for everything is beyond the shadow of a doubt priceless.
Does the crazy end with accepting this truth, you may wonder. Well, in part, yes. See, what this knowledge brings is an appreciation for everything which allows you space to enjoy this journey labeled, LIFE.
For if you let it, it can become daunting. Putting every waking moment into being politically correct and put together can be tasking on not just your body but more so on your mind.
Being saved, sane and centered is very simple, really. It all stems from loving Jesus and spending everyday allowing yourself to grow in the image and likeness of Him who created you. I mean, c’mon! If this isn’t a load off, I don’t know what else is. Who better to put the creature to its intended use than the Creator.
My! If only you’ll simply turn over the reins over to Abba. He is not idly waiting by. No! He is actively pursuing your heart. To shower on you love like you’ve never known.
In this moment, wherever you may read this from, stop to imagine a love like that because He has made it possible by His grace and mercy and He’ll bring you through everything that life may have hurled at your head.
What you should never think is that you are so far removed that He cannot reach you. That barrier is only built in our minds with bricks of guilt but salvation is price-lessly free! Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiipppppppppppeee!!!!!!
Not sure where to begin? Worship songs. Worship songs. And more worship songs. You shouldn’t worry about knowing any or about singing along. Spend time alone listening and the Spirit of God will do the rest. And please don’t go acting all prim and proper. He isn’t about all that. Your heart’s posture is what He is looking at and mind you, He knows all of our thoughts so you may as well enjoy the liberty that offers and tell him EVERYTHING.
And when He leads you to, as He certainly will, make Him the King and Lord of your life and it’ll be your best decision yet. Take it from a smitten girl.
